I finally got a picture of both of my boys. It is hard to get one with Andy. Let's face it, he just lays there.

He lays on his tummy...


...and on his back.


Then there is Crazy James. Look at this guy:


He finds these "hats" when I am feeding Andy. He always finds "two".

The Bat in the Lamp

What?!? You wanted pictures of the kids?!? You will just have to wait.

So, Mark, my husband, is in California on business and left me with 2 babies. His parents were nice enough to come and stay with me this week and help me out. Tuesday morning, James, Andy, MIL, and I had just come in from a walk and I heard this stratching sound coming from a floor lamp. All I see from the top of this lamp, is a bony little arm sticking out and that was enough. My MIL and I tie a garbage bag around the top and take the entire lamp outside. Once the babies are down for their naps, it is time to deal with this...thing.



The bat was stuck between the bulb and the bowl, and it looked to be just a baby bat.



We shake the bat down into a pitcher lined with a ziptop bag.



And from there we are able to contain the bat.



Although this bat was the only one in our house, there were more in the attic and we are in the process of dealing with an exterminator (ok, the bat man) to get rid of them.

What a week!

It's a...10lb baby!

who is also a BOY. Welcome Baby Andrew, born June 10 at 11:23am, 20.5 inches long, and 10 pounds, 4 ounces.

A busy day with the cousins

James's cousins are in town and we had a busy saturday being out and about with them. We started off the day at Chau Ram Park where they had a playground. Here is AM looking cute as always:

And there is a suspension bridge. James, my little stick boy, found some sticks and was throwing them off the side. Its what he does:

Here is me, literally 9 months pregnant, and I'M HOT!!! I don't mean in a sexy way, I mean in a "hey, it is only June, I'm 9 months pregnant, why is it 95 degrees out at 11:30am" kind of way.


After naps, the day wasn't over yet. It is time for a boat ride.

Mr. C is such a good swimmer.

After returning to Gramma's house, some relaxing baths, followed by a nice quiet dinner, the kids had some ice cream on the deck.


But me, I was exhasted. After all this, STILL no baby...I don't get it!
