Andy is 9 months old

Mark and I are just having this discussion: "as bad as James was, Andy has GOT to be worse." It is hard to believe when this is all over with, James will be my easy going child.

So, Andy is 9 months old. He is a monster. Crazy. Actually, we call him our Baby Dinosaur because he shreiks and grunts, just like a dinosaur. Most people think he is pooping, but no, just being a dinosaur.

He isn't crawling yet, but oh so close. It seems like he has been close for awhile now. He has seven (7!) teeth, and they just keep coming.

He eats a lot. He isn't so good at the solid foods, but I think that is because of teething. We are working on self feeding and he seems to like crackers, puffs, and beans. By eats a lot, I mean he has a lot of formula. However, even with spending over $100/month in iron fortified formula, he is still anemic. His stats were 23 lb, 4 oz and 29 3/4 inches. I don't normally put that info on here cause I don't want to make anyone feel bad, but it is apparently the only place I write this stuff down.

I don't think he is as smiley as James was, but he can be pretty happy. No one makes him laugh like his big brother though, no matter how hard we try. James says "Andy's funny!"

Here is one more picture. I think he looks like me, big ole baby head and all.

Don't you hate it...

Don't you hate it when the only reason you found the time and energy to fold and put away the laundry from last week, is because you need the laundry basket for the laundry for this week.

I'm just saying.

Falls Park

Since the weather was so nice, we took the kids to Falls Park. Of course we weren't the only ones with that idea. Some silly people decided to have a little race. Oh well, we found parking, so it was ok.

Getting ready to roll down the hill. He only rolled sideways though...

There was a little creek to play in. Who would let their kids play in the water? We didn't, until James fell in on accident, so might as well.

See, James had an unscheduled outfit change.

Andy was a little "off" that day. Here was a rare happy moment. Andy is happiest eating paper, or cardboard, or plastic.

I want to get SNOWY!

Man, I can't believe Becky already beat me to snow pictures. Oh well. Anyways, after a full 2 days of constant heavy rain, it turned to snow about 4:30ish and the entire yard was covered in it by 5:15. We promised James we would go out after dinner. He was very patience, but then insisted that it was time to "get SNOWY". Good thing everyone had late naps today. It took awhile to gear up, but soon we were out the door.

The first few steps outside:

Me and Andy. Poor guy, he doesn't match. Well, none of us do, but he really clashes.

Our house. Keep in mind it was about 6:30 pm at this point.

Andy was heavy. We ended up putting him in the stroller. More clashing.

Here is James when he realized we were not walking to John's house.

All was forgiven once he got some of that hot cocoa.

One more of James...look at those boots.

You can see that it was still really coming down. I promised James a snowman tomorrow. But alas, it seems to have turned to rain at this point. I hope he isn't too disappointed. Maybe I will just give him more cocoa.
