Greenville Drive

A group from our church went to a Greenville Drive game this past weekend. Those of you who know me know that I am not a fan of baseball. This is because in theory, it could last forever. That makes me nervous. I have stuff to do. At any rate, it sounded like a fun thing to try with the kids so we went. First we needed proper attire. We had walked from church to Moe's that morning and both kids complained about the brightness. So, I found hats and sunglasses.

James actually wore his at the game: Photobucket

One of the good things about this particular stadium is that it is very family friendly. There is a playground INSIDE the park. How cool is that?

They had facepainting for donations.

Here are the painted faces at our seats (in the shade!): Photobucket

Andy's is an elephant. James's is a teenage mutant ninja turtle. The game from our seats...we had some great seats!

The game only lasted for three hours. Perhaps even more shocking than that is that we actually made it until the end of the game. But the best part of the game was when it started, they played "ya'll ready for this" and Andy, yes, Andy, just busted out dancing. So cute!
