We got a new car. First of all, let me explain to you that when we bought our previous new car, we were really hoping this would last for awhile. We spent a little extra money, got some of the options that we (I) really wanted and hope to drive this one for awhile. Turns out that car was cursed. That first week we had it, had to drive it in 2nd gear for 30 minuets back to the dealer, then apparently some truck backed into it in the parking lot and dented the bumper on its two week bday, then I accident dumped 10 gallons of water in the front seat, the front wind sheild got cracked, was almost totaled in a freeway accident, smashed again on the freeway, and finally dented upon the move to SC. Maybe it isn't the best idea to try to keep a car around. Cheaper is how we are going now! Before:
And after:
Some kid related things. My PSA. It is called "Clip It" Found it at Target. It is like an activity book with scissors. So cool:
And some dress up. Andy gives a whole new meaning to "turning to the dark side"

Beach! 2011
So, last year we were suppose to go to the beach in Pensacola, FL. We didn't because of that little oil spill they had. When telling people we were going there this year, some did seem concerned. Let me assure you, the beach is fine. There seemed to be some black smudges here are there, but nothing you would notice if you weren't looking for it. Everyone was really excited about going...especially James, but he is always excited:
There were really excited to get in the sand and see the water:
Buried Daddy in the sand:
Buried James in the sand:
Had snack of course:
More snack:
Now, to be honest. A week before we left, the kids were so excited, they packed. They kept asking about the beach, wanting to go. We get there and they wanted nothing to do with the beach, but they really loved the pool. Did you know we have a pool? We do.
I do have to say this pool was a lot warmer than our pool. James put on his little googles and swam away.
After a few days the cousins from Texas joined us for fun and one of the best things we did was visit the nearby naval museum.
They had planes you could climb in!
And a kids play area!
As we were walking around, James totally walked into a planes wing. Yes, people laughed as James cried, but he perked up when he got a Diego band aid on his face!
