James knows his colors
James knows this is GREEN.

(this picture was taken 4/26)
James knows this is BLUE.

(this picture was taken 24 hours after the green picture...way to go MARK!)
This weekend, with the pool temperature of about 81 degrees, we tried out the pool. James told his daddy, "it is REALLY BLUE!"

James really likes swimming. He gets his little ring and just swims all over.

Andy is less OPEN MINDED. He tried it for awhile...

...but he was done with it after not too long.

Here is a video of James jumping in. He does this on his own, with or without his ring, and doesn't care if you are looking or not.

It has been a year!
Andy had his first birthday yesterday. I know, right? When is going to start bringing home money? Anyways, although the birthday boy was a mr cranky pants, it still ended up being a good day. We just had gramma and papa over for dinner, cake and presents and that was that.
Here are the cupcakes that James and I made. James was really more excited about this birthday then anyone!
Yes, there were presents, but you know, the paper eater only wanted the paper.
Then there was bubbles. I thought it would be something that Andy could enjoy that James wouldn't take over. I was wrong!
Happpy birthday Andy! Does it get better now?
Oh yeah, stats. Andy is 25 pounds 2 oz, 31 3/4 inches long.

4 under 4 - 2009
Last year, my sister and I had 3 kids between us, now we have 5, isn't that crazy? James and I went out to see the newest addition, AC (aka Baby Audrey), this past weekend.
James got to drive the plane out there.

Here is James calling Aunt Turah, wondering where she was.

Charlie has one sweet ride!

Glacier is still annoying...I mean, she is great.

What are these boys doing?

Dinner time!

The only decent bath picture:

AM in the pool

AC is chillin

James loves swimming!

All the kids in the car...and I swear my sister said, "see, I can fit another one in here!"

Ice Cream!

Did you know if you forgo your kids meal toy at chick fil a you get ice cream? I sure didn't.

James loved the sing a long

Making pancakes

Riding bikes

Group shot!

"This is awesome" James loved the moving sidewalks

Welcome to the world!
Do you know that there is a sub-culture of moms who keep their kids rear facing until they are like 5?!??! They just think it is safer. Me, I think eventually, you need to come into the world the way it is. If you were really worried about it, you can just stay home. The law is 1 year AND 20 pounds. Andy is not quite a year yet, but we had the car seat out for some other reason, so we went ahead and turned it around. As you can see, he was blown away by the change:

Just kiding, Andy always looks like that. Here is James and Andy in the car:

Andy looking out the window. You can't see the train going by, but that is what he was looking at. Or that is what we were telling him to look at, but he doesn't care...yet.

One more of James, I was trying to take a picture of his FRECKLES!!!

Not sure if you can see them, but it really is super cute...although I guess it means I haven't been so good at the sun screen this year.
